Our home is large newly renovated ranch style home with a large master suite with King-size bed and windows facing the water, ensuite bathroom with steam shower, small sitting area and large windows facing the river( no picture available). The living area is open concept with large kitchen, dining area, living room and fireplace. There is a large deck, enclosed and screened sunroom, exterior hot tub The walkout lower level has another sitting and television area, exit to the back yard and hot tub, as well as another bathroom and 2 bedrooms. This apartment area has been used for non-simultaneous exchanges which has been welcomed by both parties. We have enjoyed some meals together as well as the odd outing.

Our neighborhood
We are located at the end of a secluded country road in a very safe wooded area on the Saint John River. Small town with groceries, bank, medical, and other services is 8 minutes away by car (or 20 minutes by bicycle). Local gym is available close by but bicycles, golf clubs, kayak and treadmill are available at our home for summer activities as well as skis, snowshoes and skates for winter. The private beach on the river used by our family is in walking distance.The golf club (Westfield) is a five minute drive. Saint John(an old and historic Loyalist/Irish cityhttp://www.tourismsaintjohn.com/files/fuse.cfm?section=1) is 20 minutes by car as is world famous Bay of Fundy, hiking trails, nature park etc. Saint Andrews by the Sea resort town is 90 minutes away, whale watching, deep sea fishing, fishing villages are all within short drives. US border is 90 minutes away with easy access to the eastern seaboard of the US. There are many day trips to local beaches, hiking trails, country markets, historical sights, Birding sites, off shore islands within an hour or two. There are three free ferries available on the river system which makes for a leisurely country drive. Something about ourselves
We are a semi retired 60ish professional couple (geological engineer and a school district administrator) who are interestsed in travel. Philip curls, cross country skis and snowshoe in winter, swims and golfs in summer while we both enjoy volunteering at the local theater in Saint John and playing bridge. We have three adult children, one who is in Christchurch, New Zealand,another in Toronto, Ontario, and one near us in Grand Bay. We enjoy the friendly and safe nature of the town and the neighbouring city as well as the opportunity to travel on many close by day trips.  marks the location of this home
